Описание: Лондон будущего — какой он? Цветущая и прогрессивная столица Великобритании? Центр мировой культуры? У компании Flagship на этот счет своя теория... Где-то через 20-25 лет в Лондоне откроются Врата ада, из которых хлынет целая орда нечисти — демоны, зомби, призраки, горгульи и прочий сатанинский зоопарк. Вся эта рать довольно быстро разрушит знаменитый мегаполис, попутно уничтожив большинство его обитателей (не без боя, конечно). Оставшимся в живых придется бежать в лондонский метрополитен — последний оплот человечества...
Проходит пять лет, и начинаются события игры Hellgate: London. Ситуация за это время особо не поменялась — люди разбились на кланы и лишь изредка производят вылазки на поверхность в робких попытках отправить «странные существа» восвояси (а скорее — в банальных поисках еды). Может ли кто-нибудь, кроме нас — главного героя, решить вопрос с демонами раз и навсегда? Конечно же, нет!
